Overview Of The Boyro Baby Walker Recall

On June 26, 2025, Boyro Baby issued a recall for approximately 1,500 units of its baby walkers, model number US-B01, due to serious safety hazards that violate multiple federal standards for children’s products. These baby walkers were sold exclusively on Amazon.com between August 2024 and December 2024, with a price range of $70 to $90 (1).

The recalled Boyro Baby Walkers were available in black, blue, and gray, featuring five height adjustment levels, a rotating seat in black or gray, a matching footpad, and six wheels. Each walker includes four detachable toys: an owl, a flower, an arch with a ball, and a three-button music and light panel. A label with the phrase “Ready To Ride” is attached to one leg, while the height adjustment buttons are on another. The model number “US-B01” and brand name “Boyro Baby” appear on a tracking label beneath the seat cushion.

The recalled walkers fail to meet the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) safety standard for infant walkers (16 CFR Part 1216). A design and construction that permits accidental collapse (3). Specifically, they can fit through a standard doorway, which increases the risk of rolling into hazardous areas.

They do not stop at the edge of a step, making it possible for a child to fall down stairs or onto ledges. These defects present a significant risk of serious injury or death.

The brake pads on these walkers contain excessive levels of lead, exceeding limits established under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA) and the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). Lead is highly toxic to young children, and ingestion can result in: Developmental delays, Learning and behavior problems, and Neurological damage.

Federal law strictly limits lead content to 100 parts per million (ppm) in accessible parts of children’s products (CPSC Lead Ban Guidance) (2).
