The affected pads were sold at Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com and Walmart.com between March 2025 and July 2025, for about $20 to $25.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) confirmed the issue after one reported incident in which a child suffered second-degree burns on the back that required medical attention ^(1).
