Overview Of AUGNORYE Padded Crib Bumpers Recall

The AUGNORYE bumpers were officially recalled on July 10, 2025. This recall involves Augnorye padded cushioned crib bumpers, made of pink polyester, and sold in sets of four. The pieces measure approximately 27 inches by 9.6 inches and 52 inches by 9.6 inches, and each bumper has a care label with a series of letters and numbers stitched to it for identification ⁽¹⁾.

The bumpers were manufactured by Shenzhenshi Yixiakejiyouxiangongsi, dba YIXIA, of China and sold exclusively online on Amazon by YIXIA from February 2025 through May 2025 at prices ranging from $40 to $45. The company is set to refund every consumer who has this product in use. About 356 units of this product were affected as of the time the recall was announced.

The recalled padded crib bumpers with the recall number 25-384 violate the federal crib bumper ban, as they can obstruct an infant’s breathing and pose a serious suffocation hazard. Such products create an unsafe sleeping environment for infants and are banned under the Safe Sleep for Babies Act. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued the rule under 16 CFR Part 1309, effective November 12, 2022, which prohibits the sale of crib bumpers because they pose a suffocation, strangulation, and entrapment hazard to infants ⁽²⁾ .

What Parents Should Do

If you own any of these recalled crib bumpers, here is what you need to do:

• You should stop using the recalled AUGNORYE padded cushioned crib bumpers immediately and contact YIXIA for a full refund. 

• To receive the refund, you must remove the bumpers from the crib, cut the straps, and padding. 

• Email a photo of the destroyed bumpers to Yixiakejirecall@163.com ⁽¹⁾ .
