Popular Twitch streamer Fandy surprised fans when she gave birth to her baby girl Luna, live on stream. The emotional eight-hour broadcast drew over 50,000 viewers, including Twitch CEO Dan Clancy, and captured the entire labor process from home.

In an unforgettable livestream moment, popular Twitch streamer Fandy welcomed her baby girl named Luna, during an eight-and-a-half-hour broadcast that drew 50,000 viewers worldwide.

The 30-year-old creator gamer, known for streaming World of Warcraft and League of Legends, turned her Oct. 7 Twitch session into a real-life experience, documenting her entire home birth journey live for her community.

Moments before the stream began, Fandy, whose real name is Cady, shared a surprising update on her X account:

“Hi Twitter, my water just broke, so I think I’m going live. Baby time :)”

Later on Twitch, she started to stream. A video which is titled "Water Broke, Baby Time" shows Fandy surrounded by some people assisting her with the home birth, including her husband, Adam.

The Labor Livestream

The viral livestream captured every raw moment of the labour process, her emotions, screams, and tears throughout the intense labour. In the final 45 minutes, Fandy finally held her newborn daughter named Luna, in her arms.

As the Twitch broadcast wrapped up, her husband spoke to the viewers, thanking them for being part of what he called “an insane experience.”

"This was a team effort," said Adam. He also nodded to the people who helped them set up the tech equipment and cameras for the stream, noting that he originally planned to record on an iPhone.

Throughout the stream, Fandy was surrounded by her husband, Adam, her midwife, and several close friends who supported her through the eight-hour labor.

She spent the first seven hours alternating positions as contractions intensified before finally giving birth in a small inflatable birthing pool in her living room.

More than 50,000 viewers tuned in to witness the intimate and emotional moment, among them, Twitch CEO Dan Clancy, who commented during the stream:

“Fandy, best of luck and congratulations. Wishing you the best in this journey.”

After the Birth

As Fandy held baby Luna close, Adam thanked viewers for sharing in their experience:

“Thanks for watching, guys. This has been an insane experience. Cady did the work, but everyone stepped in. It was a team effort.”

The couple expressed deep gratitude to their community for the overwhelming love and encouragement during and after the broadcast.

Fandy’s Pregnancy Journey

Fandy announced her pregnancy to her 300,000 Instagram followers in April 2025, posting a photo of herself holding printed sonogram images. She has since been updating her fan

"I’m having a baby :) due Oct 18th! Future gladiator inc.," she captioned the post, tagging her husband as she added, "Super excited for this next chapter in life with @adamaxbro ♥️"s about her pregnancy journey.

By August, she admitted that the third trimester was taking a physical toll on her:

“My third trimester is ROUGH,” she wrote on X. “I’m having back and pelvic pain and Braxton Hicks on top of exhaustion. I’m healthy, just uncomfy.”

Despite the challenges, she kept her audience close throughout the process, and her decision to share the birth live made fans feel part of a milestone moment.

Now, baby Luna’s arrival marks a new chapter for the streamer and her family, who are both healthy and thriving.
