Mother's Day 2025 was extra special in Puka Nacua’s home as his girlfriend, Hallie Aiono, revealed they’re expecting their first child!

She made the announcement on Instagram, sharing a photo of her baby bump with the heartfelt caption: “You were something we always dreamt of, but I've never been so afraid. I wasn't planning for this now, but I know your timing is divine. There are a lot of ‘why’s’ in life currently, but I know that for the rest of my life, you'll be my ‘why.’ I can't wait to love you forever, my sweet boy.”

The exciting news comes shortly after Nacua opened up on the Join The Lobby Podcast about his plan to retire by age 30. This decision was inspired by Aaron Donald, and the American football wide receiver made it clear that he desires to finish his career on a high note.

During the same interview, the 23-year-old also spoke about his plans for family. He mentioned that he dreams of having a family of five boys because he grew up in a big family. He also mentioned that he wants to be present and super involved in their lives. Well, since baby number one is on the way, he just has four more to go and that's already a good start!

While most NFL stars are focused on long careers, Puka Nacua is already thinking about what life after football might look like, and he’s just 23!

In a recent chat on the Join The Lobby podcast, the Los Angeles Rams wide receiver opened up about his goal to retire by age 30. Inspired by Rams legend Aaron Donald, who left the game while still playing at an elite level, Nacua said he wants to go out on top, too.

“I think it would be super cool,” he shared, referring to the idea of stepping away from the game while still strong and successful.

But it’s not just about football, it’s about family. Nacua talked about the toll football takes on the body and how that could affect his future as a dad. He wants to be healthy enough to run around and be active with his kids.

He explained, “The injuries are something you can’t control. By the time my kids are 18, I don’t want to be barely walking.”
